At Sol De Ligogo we pride ourselves on providing “somewhat old-fashioned”, hands-on service for each and every one of our guests. We promote an atmosphere of calm throughout the grounds with natural relaxation by way of the ocean, the beach or the pool.

The pool is an especially lovely space to sit with your favourite beverage after a day of exploration and share laughs and stories with fellow Sol De Ligogo adventurers. Oftentimes faint laughter from the pool carries on the wind as you lay enjoying a siesta or sit watching the ocean.

Village Life

The little village has enough shops to purchase necessities and has a Vodacom shop for telecom needs. There is a local fisheries shop where you can buy fresh fish and crayfish for atop your braai. Each morning and afternoon the aroma of fresh baked Pau (buns) greets visitors, these are a lovely addition to you crayfish braai.

On the beach, local entrepreneurs sell hand crafts and jewellery along with capalanas (sarong in Mozambique) for ladies wanting a splash of traditional flavour. As you walk on the beach, be sure to let your eyes journey over the sand. Beautifully exquisite shells can be found by the handful, eager to be set into a piece of jewellery or to venture home as a souvenir.
